Zilong Xie is the director of the Hearing and Aging Research (HEAR) Lab. He completed his Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Texas at Austin and is an Assistant Professor in the School of Communication Science and Disorders at Florida State University.
Madeline Johnson is an undergraduate research assistant in the HEAR Lab.
Maggie Lawson is an undergraduate research assistant in the HEAR lab, where she is pursuing a degree in Communication Science and Disorders. Originally from Cape Girardeau, Missouri, she is interested in pursuing a career in audiology and is planning on attending graduate school.
David Levinson is an undergraduate research assistant in the HEAR lab. He is pursuing a degree in Psychology and Studio Art, with plans to pursue Psychology in graduate school. He is very interested in the brain’s biological processes and how that relates to our senses.
Madeline Mondok is an undergraduate research assistant in the HEAR Lab.
Hanah Niazi is an undergraduate student in the HEAR Lab, majoring in Behavioral Neuroscience. She plans to attend an MD/PhD program after graduation to become a physician-scientist.
Eshal Nishaj is an undergraduate research assistant with the HEAR Lab, pursuing a degree in Cell and Molecular Neuroscience. She is interested in studying neural processing of natural speech in noise and plans to attend an MD/PhD program after graduation.
